*Dear Valued Customers and Friends,*
After 40 wonderful years in the sewing and vacuum industry, the time has come for me to step into a new chapter of life—retirement. This decision was not an easy one, but it is a necessary step for our family. In the near future, we will be relocating to Oregon to be closer to our children and grandchildren, embracing the joy of family in this next season of life.
For more than two years, we made every effort to find a qualified buyer who could carry on the business and continue serving this wonderful community. Unfortunately, despite our best attempts, a suitable transition was not possible. While this is not the outcome we had hoped for, we remain grateful for the years we have had and for each and every one of you who has supported us along the way.
Reflecting on these past four decades, I am filled with immense gratitude. It has been an absolute privilege to serve you, to share in your projects and passions, and to build relationships that go far beyond business. The friendships, conversations, and moments we’ve shared in the shop have meant the world to me. Your support and loyalty have been the heart of this journey, and for that, I will be forever grateful.
I also want to take a moment to recognize and express my deepest appreciation for our incredible employees, past and present. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to serving our customers and community have been the backbone of our business. They have shared in our mission, cared for each person who walked through our doors, and helped create the warm and welcoming atmosphere we have been so proud of over the years. I am truly thankful for each of them and the role they have played in making this business what it is today.
Though saying goodbye is bittersweet, we are filled with excitement for this next chapter in our lives. While we will miss seeing you all, we take with us the cherished memories and friendships that have made this journey so special. Thank you for being a part of our story—it has truly been an honor.
With warmest appreciation and best wishes, Eddie "VacMan" Schultz
